New Vegan Places in Prague

It’s been a while since I last updated on this blog. Well, that’s because I was pregnant and now my son is ten months. Now that he has grown into a very independent child for his age, I’m starting to have some free time, or as mothers usually say, “me time”. Many things have happened worldwide and in Czechia as well, but now I want to continue posting. After pregnancy, multiple lockdowns and a newborn on my hands, my life finally feels back to normal, or maybe it would be more correct to say, to an ordinary one.

Let me start from introducing to you some new (to me) vegan or vegetarian restaurants in Prague.

I’d also like to mention that during the pandemic one super cool restaurant was closed (Etnosvět) but nearly a dozen new ones opened.

Vegtral

A very typical Czech “hospoda’ ; let’s call it a beer bar with Czech homemade cuisine, but vegetarian.
Some vegan options plus children’s corner.

Chutney

If you live in Prague, you are probably already familiar with this vegan pizzeria, but they opened a second branch. It’s nicer, with a great menu and right near the National technical museum, which is stunning.

These two restaurants are very close to each other.

Dhaba cafe

There are somewhere around 10 Dhaba restaurants in Prague. I love all of them, but this new cafe (next to the restaurant) in Nusle is just amazing. Very cozy, and vegan cakes are so good!
