Amazing 2-days trips from Prague

Frakfurt
Are you planning to spend some quality time in a very interesting place? I have some awesome tips for you on how to spend you spring or summer weekend. I live in Prague and the destinations I’ve listed below are very convenient for all Praguers, but of course you will enjoy visiting them wherever you are from. All these destinations take from 7 to 10 hours to reach from Prague.

Europa–Park and Strasburg
Europa-Park is the second largest theme park in Europe after Paris’s Disneyland. It is situated on the Swiss- French-German border in a German town called Rust. It’s so sad I didn’t have a chance to be there when I was a child. All your children’s dreams will come true there. A one-day stay will be enough for your first visit.
At the end of the day, just leave the park and look for a hotel in some German villages near France. It’s pretty cheap and very romantic.
The second day just go to France; it’s about 30 km from Rust. You can visit Strasburg, one of EU’s capitals. It’s an amazing stunning city which was returned to France by the Germans after WWI. As a result you can enjoy a mixture of two cultures and architectural styles.

I recommend you to drive to Europa-Park, but you can also take a train with transfers, or buy a one-day tour from Prague to Europa–Park without visiting Strasbourg.
Distance from Prague7 hours.
Cost of Europa-Park for adults: 55€ for a day.
Hotel (not on EP territory): 50

Luxembourg is a romantic country boasting plenty of very smart city technology, unbelievable architecture and an organic relation with nature. It is also aspotlessly clean pleasant country.
Distance from Prague: 9,5 hours. 80€ two-way trip by RegioJet bus (the shortest route)
Hotel (the cheapest):120.
Ticket from Luxemborg to Vianden: 2, but all public transportation will shortly become free in this country

Budapest

Budapest
Budapest is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. I can’t describe it for you; you need to see it: the building of the Hungarian Parliament, the Danube River with dozens of ships, wide streets, islands on the Danube  Two days should just be enough to get to know the city well, but you will need about a week to give it a more in-depth visit.
Distance from Prague7 hours. 40€ two-way trip by bus.
Hotel in the city centre: 35.

Frankfurt

Frankfurt

Frankfurt
It is a very dynamic German city with millions streets to see. The city is very different in each one of its parts. Each neighbourhood lives its own life, which is very interesting from a tourist’s point of view. In the night it becomes pretty dangerous and uncomfortable, so I recommend you to stay at the hotel. Frankfurt is not like any other German city to me – trust me, I’ve seen so many!
Distance from Praguehours and 25 minutes. Two-way trip by bus 53€
Hotel in the city centre: 50.
